Jackie & Gustavo Sotelo, the proprietors of Orixe Sotelo, are great people and cool winemakers. Orixe is a Galician word meaning: “beginning, source, birth, origin.” At Compline, we’ve loved their idea since its inception: to reimagine what California wines would look like if this was still a place called Alta California, and Spanish varieties reigned.
So we’re thrilled to host Jackie & Gustavo for Orixe Sotelo’s fall release party at Compline Wine Shop! Meet the couple behind the wines and taste their three fall releases. Plus you get a chance to sip on three additional Spanish wines that inform and inspire their winemaking in California.
